  1. Liberty Travel or AAA I'd recommend doing something completely out of the oridinary and getting off the internet and visiting a travel agent. They have access to discounts that we don't and know exactly how to make the most of your money.
  2. When will your honeymoon be? Taking a vacation in the "off-season" is typically MUCH less expensive than taking one during peak season. Also, what type of honeymoon are you looking for? Do you want to go to Florida? Europe? The Carribean? More details will allow people to give you advice more suited to your needs.
  3. Have you looked into a cruise? My fiance and I are going on one for our honeymoon. We figured the cost to be about $166 each per night - that includes food, tax, gratuities and insurance.
  4. You could try applevacations.com or funjet.com. We booked our honeymoon through funjet. I don't know what your budget is but our honeymoon cost $1850 for a week at an all inclusive resort in Nuevo Vallarta in April. My sister booked her honeymoon through applevacations and happened to score an incredible deal for $1350 for a week at all inclusive resort in September. She was a procrastinator though and it was booked within a month of the honeymoon so that might have helped. Both of us were happy with our trips though.
  5. HEY! My boyfriend and I went on an amazing vacation and didn't spend a whole lot of money. I don't know where you want to go, but we went to San Francisco. We flew into San Jose (booked cheap flights, $250 round trip during spring break online) then used Hotwire.com to get Hotels around half price. We just chose the area we wanted to stay in. We stayed in the fishermans warf area for half of what guests normally pay, and the public transportation there is cheap. Not only that, but pretty much everything in the warf area is within walking distance. It's all about planning. We used google and got some amazing deals.
  6. There is a magazine called Budget Travel. In the magazine, there is a section called 40 hot deals (or something like that). It is a list of great travel deals around the globe. It isn't geared toward honeymoons in particular, but they have some killer deals. They have some deals on their website as well. It might not be what you are looking for, but it is probably worth a look. http://www.budgettravel.com/ Good Luck and Congrats
  7. try one of those all inclusive packages. You can get a nice cheap one to the Dominican Republic or Mexico (those are the cheapest) check these websites: orbitz.com expedia.com good luck!
  8. You could go online to sandals.com. My husband and I went to Jamaica for our honeymoon to Ocho Rios to an all inclusive resort and spa. Included everything from plane ticket to meals. It cost about $2100.00.
  9. I would look at all inclusive sites. Usually the groom selects the honeymoon though so you may want to talk to your fiance about it because he may already have something in mind.
