Is Bali a nice, affordable place for a honeymoon?

The airfare is very expensive for when we're going in June but I hear it's extremely cheap when you're there. Is that true? What are the pros and cons?

1. It is very cheap and very beautiful. Your wife can sit and have her hair braided on the beach. At the markets there, they like to negotiate prices so sometimes if you act uninterested in an item they'll usually sell it to you dirt cheap. The only problem I had was the people are so poor it's very hard not to feel sorry for them so you tend to want to spend more money! I had a VERY nice suede leather jacket custom made for me for only $75 (Australian). One con is that we got what they call "Bali belly". You get it from usually drinking the local water but it must have been in something we ate. It's been almost 10 years since I've been and I'd definitely LOVE to go back. Just rememeber to get your shots before heading over there!
2. bali is meant for people from all walks of life. it is considered cheap if you are holding stronger currencies. a friend of mine had his honeymoon there luxuriousy and spent only USD30,000 for two on business class tickets and staying at nusa dua romanctic suite for 1 week inclusive of tours, food, butler and chauffer too. it is damn cheap! something you dont get in europe. i had a great holiday for 2 weeks staying at hilton and cost me less than usd3000 inclusive of airfare. see how cheap it is.

4. yes bali is a beautiful island and very cheap. i hope my honeymoon will be spend time in Bali. a lot of my friends honeymoon in Bali and they are very satisfy. in bali you're not only can luxuriate a beautiful beach but also a beautiful mountain. hope you enjoy it.
