Pakistani Weddings and Honeymoons?

Hi, I am going to get married in Pakistan and was planning on going away for the honeymoon. I was just wondering, if fiance and I were to go away would we be expected to bring gifts back for i.e. his sisters? Or anyone else? I probably wouldn't - but only because it's not really a holiday that I've gone on to think about others? I just don't want to seem unthoughtful. Thanks

  1. hi i live in Pakistan too.ok so you should realize that its YOUR honeymoon and even if you dont bring gifts its ok but if you feel guilty go for shopping and do bring gifts (advice : guys hate shopping).best of luck
  2. I don't think that you would need to bring back presents for his family because it is your honeymoon. The family should understand and respect that your honeymoon is a time for just the two of you to be together. I don't think it would be seen as unthoughtful. Congrats and Good Luck
