What honeymoon destination is better, Barbados or Costa Rica?

I have narrowed down my searches between Barbados and Costa Rica. I will be going for 7 days and 8 nights on June 27. Please keep in mind rainy seasons and outdoor activities such as SURFING, zip lining, white water rafting, and hiking but not to mention privacy ;). Give me your best answers as I will be picking soon. Also, is it better to book honeymoons by yourself or through a travel agency.
