Where can I find affordable honeymoon resorts less than 1 hour train ride from NYC?

I'm getting married at the end of July, we'd like a nice scenic place different from the hustle & bustle of NYC, but easy to return back home from. I'm avoiding jet lag as well hence the preference for train rides. What will the expense budget be like?

1. A one hour train ride from NYC won't get you far. Try the LIRR to Greenport, LI. From there you can take a ferry to Shelter Island (nice B&B's there) or NJ Transit to Spring Lake - The Breakers is nice http://www.breakershotel.com/
2. Montauk, LI. Great place Hudson, NY If you would not mind two hours on Amtrack your possibilities are endless Pretty late to be getting reservations. Try Saratoga, Lake George.
