  1. Where do you live? Maybe explore that state. Like a giant road trip. :)
  2. Riviera Maya, Mexico. The resorts are all inclusive. Look up the Iberostar properties.. they are all fantastic.. prices include flights, hotel, food, drinks, etc... basically everything!
  3. This might sound country and backwoods.....but Branson, Missouri or the Ozarks are great places to get away to. Also Disneyworld, Universal studio, etc are other options.
  4. Vegas is always fun! There is so much to see there besides casinos! A few of the attractions are free and there are other sites that are cheap. Also Niagara Falls, quiet getaway in the mountains, or the Outer Banks which is a ton of fun!
  5. Since you have already hit up the beaches on your cruise, why don't you go for a romantic cabin in the Colorado's? The have breathtaking views that you can see from the hot tub on your cabin's deck!
  6. Riu caribe. Its an all inclussive resort. It has all the positives of a cruise but you can stay in one place and relax, without feeling like you have to get off at every port! Don't do a road trip. I've heard so many complaints about that.
  7. You could go to Miami or Fort Lauderdale. You could go to Washington D.C. You could go to an island. There are some incredible deals out there. You could go to Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, etc. You could go up to NH or Maine. It is beautiful up there in the summer.
  8. Riu palace Las Americas n Cancun or The Bungalows in Puerta Plata, DR both are AI and beautiful.
  9. Maybe you guys can go to another country, sounds fun to me. By the way Congrats! I am getting married this July!
  10. it depends where you live and how much you want to spend. give us more info so that we can answer your question.
  11. Branson Missouri and Eureka Springs Arkansas are absolutely beautiful if you enjoy a country setting. Beach-wise You may run into hurricane season but the Destin, Ft Walton Fl areas are nice!
  12. My hubby and I went to North Carolina for our honeymoon. It was lots of fun. I don't know if you would be interested in that or not. If you want to go somewhere closer, I'd definitely suggest Colorado! My family and I used to go there for vacation every summer since I was about 4. We quit in the last few years, but still, I've probably been there more than 10 times! It's so beautiful, and there's lots to do depending on where you go. We always went hiking, horseback riding, jeeping, etc. There's also white water rafting if you wanted to try that out. Hope this helps!
  13. Lake Powell in utah is fun. Zions National Park, Arches. A lot to do especially in August. My fiance and I are going to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. We are staying in a tent trailer, and the cost is merely $10 a night for the campgrounds. We are just gonna buy a week long park pass, which costs about $20. Our biggest expense is $170 for the both of us to go on a 21 mile river rafting trip, which includes lunch. For an entire week, we will spend less than $500. We are also driving since we live about 6-8 hours away. Saves a lot on plane tickets. Our other idea was to go to a couple of theme parks in Cali and also camp out around Santa Clarita and LA. That would have cost closer to $1000 though. Also would have driven. Takes about 12 hours to get to LA from here.
  14. My husband and I were planning on doing a cruise or something exciting for our honeymoong, but we ended up doing a road trip to the coast. It was fairly inexpensive and best of all it was relaxing! One thing I can tell you is that after your wedding you are going to be exhausted! Do yourself a favor and plan a nice, relaxing trip that you and your hubby can unwind and enjoy each other's company. Trust me!
