Kerala is very hot as its coastal area and at sea level with very high humidity. Only Munnar the hill station in kerala is the best place to be as it will be pleasant. you should plan and ghave your honeymoon in himalyan hill stations
its not bad, you can go to Munnar Hill station, Thekkady (Periyar) wildlife sanctuary and end with with night stay in an AC moving houseboat at Kumarakom or Alleppey.

It will be quite hot there in the month of april...you can visit himachal hill stations like Shimla, Manali, Dalhousie, Khajjiar, Dharamshala, Mcleodganj etc...Hopefully you may be able to see snow at that time and can enjoy skiing and other snow activities also..
