Where are you going for your honeymoons?
Are you using any travel agents? booking them on your own?

- We used a travel agent, just because neither of us has ever been on a big trip like this before, and we wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. We are going to Dreams Resort in Punta Cana, Domenican Republic. We got a great deal on all inclusive.. flight, ground, hotel, food, drinks and entertainment. http://www.dreamsresorts.com/ We considered a cruise, but it is just so expensive. And with an all-inclusive trip you dont have to worry about making sure you bring a large amount of money so far away from home. We just need money for shopping and tipping!!!
- Sandals resorts has a lot of differant resorts and they are all inclusive packages. We looked at their web site and figured the price for what we want to do, then we're gonna go to a travel agency and see if they can get it any cheaper, if not, we'll book it online ourselves. Good Luck!
- were going to the virgin islands
- We are either going to Costa Rica (about the same as Mexico, moneywise, but less touristy and so beautiful and peaceful!) or Ireland if we want to splurge a little. I am Irish and have always wanted to go!! Pick somewhere that means something to you guys. Who knows the next time you will be able to go out of the country.
- We used a travel agent because Expedia and Travelocity were charging just a bit too much. It's much nicer speaking to a human being rather than questioning if you're doing the right thing online yourself. We are headed for the Mayan Riveria in only 5 more weeks! We took a delayed honeymoon because I am a teacher and wanted to finish out the year before leaving on a vacation.
- we want to go to the Maldives (most of the hotels there are each in their own private islands so its very romantic and intimate.) the best ones are: Four seasons, Conrad hotel (Hilton hotel resort) and there are plenty more.
- We are going to Paris! We are so excited because we both want to go to Europe so badly. Because the trip will be so big, and have so many destinations we are going to need a travel agent to help plan everything. We will be going to Paris for 4-5 days, and then tour the UK (England and Scotland) for the rest of the 2 weeks (10 days).
- We are going to stay at the DisneyLand hotel and drive up and down the California coast being we were never there. We are from PA. We booked everything ourselves!
- My Future Father in law is buying us a week in Mexico....we haven't decided where abouts yet, Cancun, Cabo, or Puerta Vallarta.
- I'm not sure if we'll be able to afford a honeymoon immediately following our wedding. We were thinking we might just go on a small local vacation and then go on our actual honeymoon for our 1st wedding anniversary. We'll be able to save for it that way. We're not sure where we'd like to go though!
- We are going to Cyprus.
- we are going to south America. my dad is taking care of everything
- Cozumel @ The Palace Resort http://palaceresorts.com/ It's a farily new resort and gorgeous!!! It's all inclusive etc etc. We booked through timeshare. if you do enough research and feel you are comfortable w your decision...you should be ok to book on your own. if you need ideas and help finding things..then book through a travel agent. Some places\comments: -our first pick was Costa Rica. like someone else said, it;s gorgeous and less touristy. we found the airfare to get there was much more and the availability of all inclusives was minimal and little more expensive. but, i have heard nothing but good things about costa rica. -ireland - my fiance and i did 9 days in ireland two years ago. we did a different city everyday. the country is outstanding. it is gorgeous and the people are pheonominal!!! -what about hawaii? ...i always wanted to go.. but it is expensive!! no all inclusives and airfare is $$$$$$$$$ -my friends took a mediter. cruise all over europe...it was gorgeous. if you're looking to just relax and be calm after a hectic year of wedding planning... pick a resort in mexico, choose the all inclusive and just sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet!!!
- After my fiance brought up every typical honeymoon there was (with me yawning throughout, as I don't like the sun or the water), we finally decided on a mini-honeymoon to Disneyland (we only live an hour away) and a week at Disney World in Florida. I am the research queen, so I viewed every helpful website, bought a few books, and frequented a forum about Disney vacations to ask all my questions. After a few months of this, I felt confident booking the vacation ourselves. A travel agent would have been okay, though the one we talked to was quoting us something rather high for airfare, (even though she doesn't charge us) so we are doing it ourselves.
- We're going to Portugal! We'll use a travel agent.
- We are going to Hawaii. 2 nights in Oahu at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, 4 nights in Maui at the Hyatt Regency and 4 nights in Kauai at the Grand Hyatt. We booked it through a travel agent. It's costing a fortune, but I waited a long time to find my hubby, so I figured a big celebration was in order!
- well last night we went to a bridal show and we actually won a free vacation to go to dominican republic, bahamas, mexico, or antigua..and we also have everything else for free hotels, spa,and etc..so thanks God we dont have to really worry about booking a honeymoon
