1. The only moving riverboats with overnight travel are owned by Delta Queen company. Some shorter trips (4 or 5 nights) start in Pittsburgh, end in Cincy or vice versa. Very expensive, though. Geared toward older people, too. Tall Stacks in Cincy is Oct 4-8; lots of riverboats and music. You can book trips of just a couple hours or for several days but book now because the popular ones sell out super fast. Also, Marietta OH has festival over Labor Day: steamboat races (but you can't go on them), bands, fireworks. Pretty old town.
