3. Typically, since most of us don't have a lot of money, we go to another island and stay at a really nice resort (one that we would never normally go to). Also, people go to the mainland U.S. and stay at places that match our interests (like Vegas, San Francisco, Florida, etc.). Then the people who either have money or have been given money as a wedding gift, other parts of the Pacific are popular. Tahiti, Samoa, and Fiji are all really nice. My wife and I did a combination of all three, as we had a generous family. We spent some time at the Molokai Ranch (very cool eco-adventures), Tahiti (Mo'orea - perfect for just chilling out), and then the mainland to visit family who could not attend the wedding in Hawaii.
