Is Niagara Falls really the capital of honeymoons?
Or does that just hold true for Canadians and Americans? Anyway, great place. I've been there. (Or at least, on the Canadian side) I would even call it a dreamland. (Although I believe there are other dreamlands as well...)

- Yes
- It used to be , I'm not sure about now. It is a very beautiful place , especially the Canadian side :))
- It was at one time, but I would be very surprised if it still is -- more likely Maui or Cancun ---- I've never been myself but hear that Niagara Falls is spectacular and it is on my places to see before I die list !
- Yes. It is good site for enjoyment . As regards capital of honeymoon, I do not think that it is. There are several other plces where you can go for honeymoon and whichj will provide your better opportunites for enjoyment.
- I prefer another country like Africa or Himalayas... but again we all have our likes
- i am Canadian and still find the statement honeymoon capital of the world difficult to understand when there far more elegant historical panoramic places around the world or maybe it's just that I've been there too often
- Not my idea for a honeymoon but to each their own. My place for a romantic honeymoon would be either the rocky mountains or on a beach somewhere.
- In the UK we have Gretna up on the Scottish boarder. But that is more Vegas, as in a good place to get a quick wedding, but we don't have anything that equates to Niagara.
- i live there and it is still called that by the locals and in the papers and that. they just opened some of those qucik wedding chapels so im sure that will help with the name. it is still the busiest and biggest tourist spot in canada so i am sure that there are still lots of honeymoons spent there.
