How do you prepare for the holidays if you are sending something by mail?

hi, i want to know how do you prepare for the holidays? when it comes to the holidays, there will be alot of shoppers, and people traveling by airplane, and car. if you are buying gifts, then what carrier should you choose to make sure that the person that you are sending it to receives the gift on time. additional topics and info will be accepted. thanks.

1. well first off if you get it done right now and send it out by the end of this week they should get it by christmas and maybe even before... try to do stuff early. i like to go shopping after christmas for the next year. little tip for this year.. just because you get great deals on things and your all ready for christmas and dont have to fight till the end.
2. ups offers several options depending how far you r shipping...ground is not guaranteed at this point..but still an inexpensive option if not shipping too far. they also offer 3 day, 2 day and next day...also each pkg comes with $ 100 free insurance..go to local ups store
