Where would be a nice and romantic place to go for a honeymoon, but nowhere too expensive for newlyweds?

  2. ANy island away from the mainland where you live would do..just to be away and alone together!
  3. We're doing Riveria Mya in Mexcio. All inclusive, air fare, hotel, great drinks and food, for around $3,200 for 4 nights for the both of us.. can't beat that
  4. Mauritius is probably THE best place to go to for a honeymoon. It's totally secluded but is far away and might be expensive. Hoever I can guarantee that if you go there you wont regret it
  5. Bali is great and inexpensive.
  6. We absolutely LOOOOOOVED our honeymoon cruise. I don't know where you live, but if you live close to a port of departure, you might consider a 5-7 day cruise as a relatively inexpensive honeymoon option.
  7. Take a cruise, they wait on you hand & foot & the cost starts at a couple of hundred of dollars per person. If you can drive to a port this will save you airfare. When the kids are in school this is the off season & you can get some great deals. All of your meals are taken care of & you will get to see several islands depending on the cruise slected. Make sure you ask for a double/queen/king bed, now when you get on the boat they will try to up-grade you to a better room but with 2 twin beds, do what you want at this time, you can always take the upgrade & slide the 2 beds together.

I don't know what kind of budget you're looking at, but we got a week in Malta for about $2750 (this includes airfare and a five-star hotel - we used Orbitz, which was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the other major package deal sites that we checked). We love that it's a little more unusual than a lot of your major honeymoon destinations, yet it's got a little bit of everything you'd find in those other places! (history and culture, water activities/beaches, beautiful architecture, etc.) Also, from what I understand, depending on where you stay, you can enjoy peace and quiet or a great nightlife scene :)

  10. It depends on where you live. I can tell you that you shouldn't go to the Occidentil Grand Flamenco in Punta Cana, that is where we went for our honeymoon because of the hurricaine in Mexico in 2005 and it was not that nice. Most certainly not what we had paid for in Mexico!
  11. We went to Las Vegas and it was reasonably priced. You make your honeymoon romantic, not the place.
  12. An Alaskan cruise...or a cruise anywhere. You can get great deals!
