Looking for bachelorette party gift idea for "Honeymoon in Hawaii" theme.? I've been inviited to a bachelorette party for a girl at work. The theme is "Honeymoon in Hawaii". I don't want to be too risque as I don't know what the couple is like in that department and I don't want to embarass her either. They seem somewhat of a quiet, relatively reserved Italian couple. Hawaii Honeymoon Planning Advice Please!? My fiancé and I are getting married on May 10th 2008. We are so excited about taking our Honeymoon to Hawaii, since neither of us has been there. We are open to the island we stay at but do NOT want to stay in a hotel. We are looking for a private condo on the beach so we can cook our own food and have the comforts of our “own” home. Something that is nice, yet affordable, our budget will be about $6000 total for maybe 10 days. Also, we want our condo to be secluded but give us the option to take our rental car to a nice dinner, grocery shop and do fun activities. We want to be able to be in somewhat close proximity to swimming with dolphins, a zip line experience, surf lessons, horseback riding and jet skiing. So if anyone has any lodging recommendations and activity information I would really appreciate it. Like I mentioned we have no idea where to begin with planning and are hoping we can find the island of our dreams. We are hoping to make this the trip of a lifetime!

Hawaii Honeymoon idea - cruise & then stay @ hotel. Best idea or waste of money? We were thinking of flying over to Hawaii and staying at a hotel a few days in Maui. Then taking a 7 night cruise (Noreigen is available for July 9 for $1,500) through the Hawaii islands. Is this the best idea or a waste of money? We would like to see as much of Hawaii as possible, but relax at the same time. The $1,500 is for 2 of us. We've never done a cruise before.

Hawaii Honeymoon...? I'm curious...a lot of the Hawaii Hotels that are on the beach don't actually have water that is "swimmable." I don't want to stay on the BIG island...but can anyone recommend anywhere else in Hawaii that has calmer water for swimming?

Hawaii honeymoon cruise on Pride of Hawaii: NCL? I'm going on a 7 day cruise for my honeymoon in November and was wondering if anyone could recommoned some good excurions for this trip. Or, give me some insight on which excursions not to do. We're real out doorsy and don't mind hiking, biking, whatever. We also don't want to spend more than 150 per person, per excursion. Finally, I know with Carnival and Royal Caribbean that you're not supposed to bring liquor on board but if you sneak it in your bag they won't tell you to take it out. Should we honeymoon in Hawaii? My fiancee and I are planning to go on a honeymoon in late June. We figure for about the same price as a week or so in Hawaii (option 1) we could take an Alaskan cruise, stay in Vancouver a couple of days, and even go to a cheaper all inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta for 4 days (option 2). Option 3 is a cruise to the Bahamas or Galapagos Islands. Option 4 is Australia, but I'm concerned about late June being a bad time of year. I'm probably more adventurous than her as she is a bit cautious, but I think we both would like a good mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. I'm partial to option 2 as I've traveled a lot, & done the Volcano thing (Costa Rica), but she hasn't traveled anywhere hardly at all. If we choose the Hawaii option, what is the best way to see Hawaii? Any suggestions for Hawaii, the other options, or something else. Europe's out as I've been there 3 times myself recently and it's expensive. Time should not be a problem, as we are taking 3 - 4 weeks off.

Honeymoon in Hawaii, Sept 2008? Our wedding is in Sept of 08, and i am thinking about having our honeymoon in Hawaii since both of us have never been there before. (hopefully that is not the busy season?) What i got from readin most of the answers/questions is that Oahu and Maui would be the top two (island) choices. 1. Overall, We would like to stay maybe 5-7 days. Which island would best accommodate us and what would the price range be? (We do prefer a 3 or 4 star+ resort) 2. What are the pros/cons of those two islands that i need to be aware of? Each island offers something different that the other island don't, so maybe we should go over to the other island using ferrry? 3. Honeymoon in Hawaii? Does anyone know which island is best to visit in January? We want to be somewhat distanced from the busy downtown area but still want to be close enough to go and have fun. Hawaii as a honeymoon? My fiance' doesnt allow me to wear any beach kind of clothes (he's toooo conservative.. he cant stand men looking at my body like that) so there wont be any beach activities for me when we travel around together .. now he's suggesting that we go to Hawaii but isnt Hawaii all about the beach? i mean will i ever be able to have fun there if im not allowed to do any of those beach stuff ?
