Affordable Honeymoon Packages

What is the most luxurious place to spend a honeymoon in Fiji at any price? I am looking for a small (under 20 rooms/bures/units) resort in Fiji that offers white sand beaches, excellent snorkeling, gourmet food, spa services (massages at a minimum), excursions, and good service. Heated plunge pools would be a bonus. I have found plenty of resorts, but none that seem to meet all of these requirements.

Suggestions for Fiji honeymoon? Hello there! We finally decided on a Fiji honeymoon !!! Neither of us has been there - that was the only condition for picking our honeymoon location :) We're spending 8 days at the Outrigger on the Lagoon on the Coral Coast on Viti Levu + last 3 days on laid back Tokoriki Island Resort. My fiance and I enjoy hiking and exploring the local cultures. We're not sure if we'd want to rent a jeep to drive around, will see when we get there. I've browsed online for activities, tours etc. but I would love to get any suggestions based on your personal experiences on Viti Levu. What is the must-see not-to-miss things to do, recommendations on restaurants, tours etc.

Honeymoon Maldives vs Fiji? I am looking to do a honeymoon in one of the over water bungalows, and we have narrowed it down to the maldives or fiji. What one is the best recommended? Any certain Island/resort. We would rather stay away from family areas and stick to the couples thing. We are looking for something nice but obviously not to expensive (though both places are expensive). Beaches, snorkeling, Bars and some night life (but nothing to seedy like Thailand) someplace where boats wont be near our bungalow.

Have you ever been to Fiji? I am possibly going to go to Fiji for honeymoon next year. I am looking for any information regarding this venue. I am getting married around May 2008. Any suggestions for warm, romantic honeymoon destinations? I have looked into Aruba, Fiji, St.Lucia, Jamaica. I want it to be tropical and romantic. I want to be able to enjoy time alone with my husband but I also want there to be some what of a nightlife incase we decide to leave our resort. Any suggestions?

Honeymoon help...? My fiance and I are getting married in June 2008, we are both quite young and what with having to pay for the wedding and buy a house and all those things we dont have a lot of money. But we want to go somewhere nice - somewhere tropical but reasonably priced. Does anybody have any ideas? We would love somewhere like fiji or cook isalnds in one of those overwater bungalows but just dont have the cash. Any suggestions, past experiences or links to good resorts or specials would be much appriciated. Oh and please dont suggest we wait a year or so, i think it loses the charm of being a honeymoon then... Is it necessary to have a travel agent? My fiance and I are planning a destination wedding (Jamaica, Fiji, Mexico.....somewhere) just for the two of us. We would like to get married on the beach/resort grounds and stay for our honeymoon. Is this something a travel agent can assist with? And how much do travel agents costs? Advantages of having an agent?

I need to know some things about Turtle Island in Fiji? Okay, so I'm getting married in about six months and for my honeymoon I was extremely considering The Turtle Island Resort(http://www.turtlefiji.com/). It looks amazing and my fiance likes it too. But here's the problems.. I hate seafood and so does he. Do you think if we call ahead or something they can make other arrangements. Also, I would like to know an approximate price of a Grand Bure for a week. There's not much information on the site. Another thing is how do I get there(I know by plane, thank you very much). I'm flying from Westchester and want to know rates for business fare as well as where in Fiji I fly to??? Also approximately how long it will take. Any information will help. Thank you. :)

Will I be always disappointed if I dont have my dream wedding and honeymoon? The wedding plans are all going good but we have had to really cut down on certain things - price of my dress, type of alcohol we provide, number of guests, wedding favors etc. because we just cant afford it. We have just put down a diposet on a house which is more important than having my ideal wedding but I just wish I could have both. We have no money for a honeymoon now though, should we just go away somewhere for a weekend locally? I have always wanted to stay in Fiji or Tahiti or somewhere in the south pacific. Ideally would love to stay somewhere like Likuliku Lagoon Resort, is there any way I can? Do you think honeymoon registrys are tacky?

Honeymoon Options and Opinions.? We are going to Vegas August 2008 to get married. Our honeymoon options so far are: Drive up the West coast of California for 7 -10 days, or take a cruise of the Mexican Riveria or Hawaii. We originally wanted to go to an all inclusive resort but thought that at that time of year it would be incredibly hot wherever we went. We did look into Tahiti and Fiji but the trip would be too much. Looking at $1800 to$ 2500 each person (honeymoon cost). Any ideas or experiences? Really heavily leaning toward taking a cruise but would like to hear some shared experiences good and bad. Thanks in advanced.
