Disney Honeymoons Knowledge Base
Prices of Disney Honeymoons? My finacee' and I have decided to go to Disney World for our honeymoon. I was browsing the site and seeing what they had to offer. What I would like to know, is the price they quote on a moderate hotel or is your choice? Or if you get to choose how much would the price go up? I do plan on making a call to Disney for more information but I would like to book it asap, since I'm getting married in June. While the website was helpful in me deciding what package to take it didn't give too many details on how you go about getting the hotels.
Where can i find disney world honeymoon packages? I've seen all the add-on stuff on their website, but no vacation package specifically for honeymoons. Plus, i hear if you're on your honeymoon you can skip to the front of every line. Is that true? Just looking for price ranges for the special occasion and something that will make the to-be Mrs. satisfied.
What to do on a Disney Honeymoon? We're trying to plan our honeymoon at Disney World. I want to get an idea of what there is to do besides the theme parks, to make sure that we are making the most out of our time there! We are staying at the Grand Floridian resort. Any tips/advice/warnings and activity ideas beyond theme parks would be greatly appreciated!
Is Disney World Ideal for honeymoons? I was thinking of going to Disney for my honeymoon as I know I won't be disapointed, I want something quite special though (obv) I was thinking of staying in the Grand Floridian for 4 nights & Animal kingdom lodge for 3 nights. I have been to the grand floridian cinderellas feast before (saw bruce willis!) and its nice but i wouldn't like it every night. I might get disney dining plan as its cheapest and I wouldn't have to worry about cash, the cheapest disney tickets I can find is a 5day ticket (I want to go about 3times) And thats £350! Any suggestions? Has anyone stayed at Animal lodge as ive never been? Has it got resutrant/s? Thanks =D
Should we go to Universal or Disney during our honeymoon? My fiance and I are getting married in July, and we have decided to honeymoon part of the time in Orlando. We are debating whether to go to Universal or Disney...and if Disney, what parks! He has never been to Either...he's never even been to FL! I originally thought Disney, because every kid deserves to get to Disney someday! However, he is a Marine and a bit of a thrill seeker, so some of his family and friends are encouraging Universal. However, coworkers are saying Disney. SO...needless to say, confusion! Any one have some really good suggestions?
Has anyone had their honeymoon at Disney World? We are going for our honeymoon ito Disney World May of 2010. Does anyone have any tips for us or things we should do while we are there? I have been there but he hasn't. We have kids so he wants to go before we take them and he wants to be able to ride the rides without kids.(boy 2 years old and a girl 7 months)
What is the best Disney world resort for a honeymoon? Hi, what would be a nice resort at disney world for a couple in their 20s for their honeymoon. I would like it kind of affordable but nice and romantic, like a jacuzzi tub in the room. Any suggestions would be nice.
which is the best walt disney world resort for a honeymoon? For my honeymoon me and my fiance want to go to Disney and stay on site. I've gone the past 4 years but I have never stayed on site. I want the best resort for us. The cost doesn't matter but still would like to factor it in a bit. I've skimmed a couple books on the resorts but still don't know which is best for a honeymoon. Anyone have any suggestions?
I just found out Im pregnant, and going to Disney in a month? I couldnt be any more than 5 weeks pregnant, and I am going on my honeymoon to Disney in a month! My question is, which rides can I ride? I know obvious that Rockin Roller coaster is out of the question, but I dont understand why Tower of terror would be bad? Or why the safari is bad? I have country road that is worse than that! Also what about expedition everest? And any other rides? Is it safe to ride so early in the pregnancy?
Going to Disney World for my honeymoon, do they do anything special? I'm going to disney world in May for my honeymoon, birthday celebration AND to celebrate a total of 5 years with my fiance. Disney asked if I'm celebrating anything when we go down there and I told them all of that... Where we're staying again. Not the ultimate dream honeymoon but we're 22, own a condo, and are paying for a wedding - so having a honeymoon at all is a dream in its self. Do they ask just for marketing or unknown reasons? or should we expect something special?
I need help about Disney World meal option plan? We are planning a honeymoon to disney world and it give you the option of adding a meal plan to your stay, we cannot decide if it is worth paying for the meal plan or just taking your money and get what you want at the parks? How much to expect per meal per person?
Tips for honeymoon at disney world? I am going to disney world for my honeymoon in May. This is my 3rd time there but I was really young and don't remember too much, and this is my fiances first time there. We are staying at the boardwalk inn. Any tips? Romantic things to do? Places to eat? Things we must do before we leave? All advice is greatly appreciated.
Getting married in the Bahamas and honeymoon at Disney World? I would like get married in the Bahamas and then spend honeymoon at Disney World? I’m looking for ideas as for as cost 1-2 in Bahamas the rest at Disneyworld. Total one week. When I put together the packages, prices are outrageous has to be a better way
Just foundout Im pregnant, disney honey moon in a month? I couldnt be any more than 5 weeks pregnant, and I am going on my honeymoon to Disney in a month! My question is, which rides can I ride? I know obvious that Rockin Roller coaster is out of the question, but I dont understand why Tower of terror would be bad? Or why the safari is bad? I have country road that is worse than that! Best place to stay in Disney on our honeymoon? We're 23 years old and will be honeymooning in mid-November. Where is the best place to stay? We like really nice places, but nothing too expensive. I'd like to stay between $200-$350 per night and still have a great experience! We'd love to stay inside of the resort. A 5 or 6 day park hopper pass should be sufficient for us. What do ya'll recommend???? Thanks!
What advice do you have for a couple going to Disney World for their honeymoon? We are staying at the Pop Value Resort, but we will be getting the dinning plan and everything. (His grandpa is paying for everything has a gift!) What are some things you recomend us doing? The best shows, rides, resturants? We are not into spas or golf but we love rides, fun food, crazy resturants, shopping and the movies!
Is Disney World a good honeymoon destination? I've always wanted to go, but it seems like more of a family place, rather than for two young adults. We don't just want the proto-typical honeymoon by the beach or out on a cruise type honeymoon. We like that Disneyworld has all the rides and attractions, but will all of the children draw away from any honeymoon type experience?
Has anyone ever been on a Disney cruise and how did you like it? We are thinking of going on a Disney cruise for our honeymoon. It wasn't my first choice but there just aren't as many options as I thought there would be for June of '09 when we're getting married. I have heard Disney cruises are fun - but how would they be for a honeymoon? Any thoughts are appreciated!
Recommendations for Disney honeymoon? (Dec. 17-21)? Background: My fiance and I will be getting married on December 16th. We will be traveling from Columbus, OH to Orlando for our honeymoon on December 17th and leaving on December 21st. We are purchasing three-day park hopper tickets to Walt Disney World and planning to stay at a Disney resort. Question: Does anyone have a list of suggestions and/or caveats for our trip? I am especially curious about the following subjects: 1. Weather during that time of year 2. Traffic and lines around the parks 3. Resort information (we are leaning towards Animal Kingdom Lodge) 4. Specific attractions and entertainment suggestions for young newlyweds.
Pros and Cons between Disney World and DisneyLand? My fiancee and I are planning on going to Disney Land for our honeymoon instead of Disney World, due to the fact that we have both been to Disney World, and want to see how Disney Land is... Can anyone tell me the pros and cons? Besides Disney Land being smaller? Thanks!!
Has anyone went throught the Disney Website to book a honeymoon? There is a particular website for honeymoons with Disney that I'm looking into but I'm unsure that I even need to go that route...I've noticed that when you associate wedding with things that makes it more expensive. Advice? You think it be better to go to a travel agent to book my Disney Vacation or thru Disney's website? I've never used a travel agent and not sure how that works. http://www.disneyweddings.go.com/site/gate/index.jsp - wedding http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/index - regular vacation
Disney World Honeymoon? Bit of an early question, but Me and my Fiance would like to take a trip to Disney World Florida for our honeymoon in 2011, I know it's incredibly early but Is it possible if anyone could tell me how much it will all cost for, hotel, food, plane, literally everything. We want to stay for 3 weeks and are aiming for a value or possibly moderate resort. Plus if possible any tips for honeymoons at disney. Thanks in advance We want to go in september if that helps.
Going to disney for honeymoon? I am going to Disney (FL) for my honeymoon. I am very afraid of rollercoasters and fast rides. Are there any I should stay away from? Or are they all pretty tame?
does disney world serve banana margaritas? My fiance is dead set on getting banana margaritas (non-alcoholic of course) while we're at disney on our honeymoon. Do they serve them anywhere at the resorts or the parks?
Honeymoon at Polynesian Resort in Disney World? my fiance and i are getting married in april and planning on going to Walt Disney World in for our honeymoon. This question is pretty much for people who really know Disney....but I was just wondering if the Polynesian Resort (which is where we are staying) gives anything for free to the honeymooners or if they do anything special?? and also what are some romantic things to do in Disney World or nearby Disney???? Does anyone know of any good websites that show me pictures of the Polynesian and the rooms and stuff? thanks
What can we do at Disney World since it's last minute? I got this mother's day/honeymoon gift to Disney World we go this week. He didn't plan it too well. Just got our flight, hotel, and car rental. No tickets yet. We've never been so, of course all the character dinners are full and stuff. Is there other restraunts we can go to and not have to have reservations on the parks? or what else can we do since we've never been and should we take our 8 month old with us too?
What restaurants should we eat at on the Disney Dining Plan? We are going the first week of May to Disneyworld for our Honeymoon. We are doing the basic Disney Dining Plan, one snack, one quick service and one table service meal. We are there for 7 days. Where should we go? I want to go to the SciFi Drive In, but I'm just not sure where else to go. Any suggestions are appreciated. We also don't mind using two meal tickets for the nicer restaurants. Thanks.
What is the best/cheapest way to buy Disney tickets for Orlando? I am travelling to Orlando, Florida from the UK next month on my honeymoon. We would like to visit the disney parks and also some other attractions like the universal parks. This will be our first ever visit. I have seen various ways of buying tickets online. I have been advised that I can buy tickets on the plane (I am flying with virgin atlantic from Gatwick) but I have no idea what the prices are. We are going to be in florida for 2 weeks. Any advice would be gratefully recieved.
Do you have to have kids to go on Disney's character dinner? Going to Disney on my honeymoon over Christmas. We have book to go on the character dinner which includes a limo ride, taking 5 hours in total. We aren't taking any kids and just wondered if we are going to look out of place or even worse completely creepy?!
How much money to take to Disney? My fiance & I are going to Disney for a week as part of our honeymoon. We already purchased all of our tickets/hotel, but we are unsure of how much cash to take. We will be taking 1 credit card to use, and cash as well, but are unsure of how much we will need. We are doing Sea World for 2 days, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom. Any suggestions?
disney honeymoon? do you think going to disney land for your honeymoon childish. or just doing what makes you happy?
Walt Disney World Honeymoon? Recently I got engaged at Walt Disney World. My fiancee and I had an incredible time. We went to Disney World for four nights and stayed at the Hilton at Walt Disney. At the end of our trip we agreed that we had to come back and stay at one of the deluxe resorts for our honeymoon. I have contacted disney a couple times since than to plan my occasion. It seems, in my opinion, that they don't really have any staff dedicated to honeymoons. Everything I have been experiencing is as if I am just like an other visitor. Which is fine, I do not want any special treatment, but makes me wonder if they really caterer to honeymooners at WDW. I even requested a brochure. The brochure was pretty basic stuff, not informative at all. My question to a seasoned disney traveler is it worth it to go there for a Honeymoon? I am operating on a 5000 dollar budget for Room, Tickets, Food. And another 1000 for extras. I want to do at least a 10 day stay. I thought this was a good budget. But it seems to stay in a nice room, with food, and park tickets I will be pushing that budget. Should I reconsider and just go to the Caribbean? Thank you so much for your assistance.
Disney honeymoon? We have decided to spend our honeymoon with Mickey Mouse... We are spending seven nights in orlando and will probably spend 3ish of those days at the disney parks.... any pointers, or must see/do things that we might not thing of......Also what other things are there to do around orlando that we might not think to do???
Disney Honeymoon: Your Thoughts? Recently, I took a vacation to Disney. I noticed quite a few couples on their honeymoon. They were all wearing these Mickey and Minnie matching bride and groom ears. It got me thinking; would you go on a Disney honeymoon? Now, I love Disney and I had a great time. I have no children yet, but I still enjoy going on the rides and participating in the magic. It can be romanatic at times (such as Epcot at night); but, I don't think it I'd take my honeymoon there. Overall, I just have always pictured my honeymoon to be more intimate, more laid-back and more romantic. Now, if someone really loves Disney, I can't say they're wrong. But, it wouldn't be my top pick. I'm just wondering what others thought. Would you honeymoon at Disney? Why or Why Not?
What Disney resort would be fun and romantic to stay at for our honeymoon? If you're going to be negative and say that Disney isn't romantic, why bother commenting? My fiance hates the beach so I'm not going to spend all this money on a resort. Please leave positive feedback and suggestion on Disney, as we've been there before but always stay in a value resort and want to upgrade for the honeymoon. THANKS!
Honeymoon tips for Disney world? My fiance and I will be traveling to Disney World for our honeymoon in mid-June. Any tips or secrets about honeymooning at this location?
Disney Honeymoon... What resort to stay in? My fiance and I want to go to Walt Disney World for our honeymoon. Our wedding is in early November, and we cannot decide which resort to stay in. We are looking at the Moderate priced resorts, because let's face it we aren't made of money. I have been searching online and I am seeing alot of bad reviews of the Disney Resorts... This can't be true, or can it? People having a bad experience at Disney? Has anyone stayed a Disney Resort lately? Also, has anyone gone to Disney World on their honeymoon... what can we expect? What about the Disney Dining Plan.. or the special Packages... Any answers would be great! Have a Magical Day...
Is 2 days long enough to do the best things at Disney Orlando? I'm going to Orlando for 4 nights during our honeymoon in Aug and have 2 days for Disney, a day at discovery cove and a day at universal studios. Do you think 2 days will be enough to go to Magic kingdom, Animal kingdom and Disney hollywood studios. Ha yeah well we're going to Miami for 6 nights 1st so will probably get it out of our system thn lol!
Can anyone suggest placces to go for a romantic dinner at Disney World? My fiance and I are doing our honeymoon at Disneyworld and we want to dine in some places that have the disney mood, but are still romantic. If there are any suggestions people have from experiance of romantic places to dine, or even good character dining that would be great. Thanks
Is there a dress code for Disney Restaurants? My fiance and I are going to WDW for our honeymoon next month. This is the first time we'll be staying at a Disney resort and we have already included the Dining Plan. My concern is about what type of clothing should we take on our trip besides the typical "park" clothing (you know, shorts, sneakers, t-shirts...). What do we need to dine at our resort's restaurant (Coronado Springs)? What do we need to dine at, say, California Grill? If we are at a park and choose to dine at a participating restaurant there (making advance reservations, of course), will we be admitted with park clothing? Please help! Every piece of advice will be greatly appreciated!
Where can I buy sex toys at or near Disney for my honeymoon? We are going on our honeymoon to Disney next week and wondering if there is any place that we can buy Lotions KY or vibrators! We are staying at one of the Disney resort and won’t be having a car. Has anyone ever traveled with a vibrator? I would think that could get embarrassing.
Can you ride (most) Disney/universal rides when 4months pregnant? I've planning my honeymoon since forever and I wont stay home without going to florida again! i love disney and universal..like the happiest place on earth lol and my future husband wants to go. I'll be around 4 months in September.. is it safe? the baby is inside the amniotic sac so nothing happens..right? think about the mount Everest..awesome!
I'm going to Disney for my honeymoon. Any suggestions? I've been to Disney twice, but this will be my fiance's first visit. We are staying at a Disney Resort and will spend there 6 nights. I know that the parks can really worn you out so we are just visiting three of them. We'll spend a day on Downtown Disney and another day at the resort without going out. Any suggestions about attractions, things we should not miss, etc? Appreciate your comments!
Have you ever eaten a Dole Whip in Disney World? I LOVE the Dole Whip in Adventureland in Walt Disney World. I seriously can't wait for my honeymoon in May for obvious reasons, but one of the exciting things in Disney World is getting one of those delicious Dole Whips! Anyone else hooked on them when in the Magic Kingdom? :o) YUMMY! Can't wait!
Romantic Restaurants in or around Disney? My fiance & I are going to Disney as part of our honeymoon. The last day there in Disney, before our carnival cruise is my fiance's (husband then) birthday. We would like to go to eat somewhere nice. Somewhere in or near Disney world. Any suggestions? We are looking for something outside of the parks- because this will be in the evening after we go to Animal Kingdom. We looked into the California grill- anyone been there?
thinking about going to disney world for honeymoon? would this be a good place to go for a honeymoon for 2 weeks. i have been their before when i was little and i loved it. would this be a romantic place to go for a honeymoon and also just to have fun i think grown people go their too thank you vary much.
Whose your favorite Disney charachter? What's your favorite Disney movie? My husband and I are total Disney freaks. We had our honeymoon at Disney World. We have gone to Disney World just about every year since 2002. We aren't going this year because our home is on the market and we can't afford to go. BUT, we will be moving to FL and our home will be only an hour from Disney World. We're very excited about that...so are our friends/family.
Is the boardwalk Inn resort @ Disney good? I'm going to Disney this summer on my honeymoon, and I want to get some feedback, tips, or any valuable info we are staying for 7 days and we are on the dining plan as well!! Thanks
Question about cruising, specifically the Disney Cruise? I'm in the process of planning my honeymoon next year. I'm planning to do 7 nights in Disney World and then a 7 night cruise on the Disney Cruise line. I've never been on a cruise and neither has she. So what I am wondering. Do you think I should go on one before our honeymoon? I've never experienced one, so I know nothing about. The agent I am using is helping me with all my questions, but I'm just not sure if I should go on one to see waht they are like. Want it to be absolutley perfect, so I just wonder if I will be able to give her a nicer trip if I learn a little more about it first. Thanks for your answer!
Going to Disney World for our Honeymoon. We are looking for the best experience at the best price. Help?!? We are going to Disney World on November the 5th through the 11th. We would like to stay at Disney and possibly in a Deluxe resort. We want to be able to eat three meals but not spend too much money. We are also flying from Pensacola to Orlando either early morning on the 5th or the evening of the 4th. We want this to be the best honeymoon possible but we don't want to pay too much for this and sacrifice our payments on the wedding, a house, and our student loans. Any help would be appreciated!!
Disney World honeymoon a mistake? Tomorrow morning I am booking a honeymoon trip for Port Orleans Riverside in Disney World. 5 Nights with Dining and a 6 day park hopper pass with flight from SLC for $2200. Can someone reassure me that I am doing/have done the right thing? I always loved Disney LAND as a kid but have been enough now that it isn't quite as exciting. I have never been to Disney World? Is it any better? Should we just go to San Francisco or San Diego or Las Vegas or something instead? I liked the idea of Disney World because of there is a lot to do it seems like. We don't drink anymore, so please don't just say "get slammed and you'll have a blast" lol. Thanks for your help! My fiance was the one who suggested WDW to me but she isn't sure about it either! It doesn't help that neither of us have been and don't know what to expect. Though we both liked the idea of Disney Dining, not having to worry about paying for meals!
Do you think there is something wrong with adult women who wear Disney themed clothing outside Disney World? I used to work with a woman who was very into all things Disney. She went to Disney world for her honeymoon, passed out Mickey Mouse shaped chocolates at her wedding, and regularly wore clothing that featured Disney characters to work (ex. a navy blue cardigan with Tinker Bell and a trail of stars embroidered on it). I've since know a few other women like this and just wondered about them. Maybe I've lost some sort of childhood majical what not and they've managed to maintain it.
How is parking at Disney and sea world? My fiance & I are going on our honeymoon in May and one week of it will be spent in Orlando. We are going back and forth between two hotels. One provides free shuttle service and one charges $6 per person for the shuttle service- but a much nicer hotel. We were thinking about just parking at the parks. Does it cost? Is it horrendous in and out? I'm not sure what the best option would be. Thanks!
Have you been to Disney World? I'm getting married on Sept. 9th and we are going to Disney World for our honeymoon.Whats the most romantic place and the best place to have fun?
Looking for details about Disney Honeymoons - prices, worth it, fun? I've been looking for information about Disney Honeymoons, but all I can find is Disney's "of course they're wonderful" sales pitch. I'm sure someone out there has been on one - is it really nice? How much did it cost? Is it worth it? Also, I'm allergic to alcohol - is it more than just free drinks? I know things like prices change, but we're looking for even a rough estimate to see if it's in our price range. I asked Disney for that kind of information, and they sent me a DVD of people on rides and drinking wine with dinner. Increadibly not helpful.
Honeymoon in Florida (Disney World)? Howdi!! I am on a mission. A honeymoon mission. But totally lost. Please help!!! H2B and myself plan on having our honeymoon at disney world, I have send off for the disney holiday planning kit, and spoken to travel agents, etc but still not really much closer in booking anything. This is what I need to know. Has anyone had their honeymoon at disney world aswell? If so where did you stay? Did you pay for the flight from the UK, hotel and park tickets together as a package? What package did you get? Can anyone recommend agents to go with, hotel to stay in, etc. I am wanting something fun and lively but also its a honeymoon and want days when we can relax. Any help would be soo gratefully received. I am lost. Thank you in advance. 8-)
Disney World Honeymoon...? We can't figure out how to price our honeymoon at Disney World. We're staying for 18 days, and we want a vacation package that gives us the deluxe dining package, the Cirque Du Solei tickets, and all of that, but we don't want the spa treatments. We'd really like to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, but are also thinking about changing resorts after 9 days to get another experience there also. Does anyone have any advice? How do we price this vacation? Nope, no kids yet! We're just looking for someone who has some experience with this long of a stay for two in Disney. And yes, it is romantic!
What is a special gift for a couple honeymooning at Disney World? A good friend of mine is honeymooning at Disney's Wilderness Lodge in the fall and I want to do something extra special for them while they are there. My initial thoughts were dinner at one of the nicer restaurants (but which one?), a little something at a spa (but what?) or something else romantic. Disney has a bunch of surprises up their sleeve, I just know nothing about them. So naturally I thought one of you could help out...so?
On a Disney Cruise package for 4 days land and 3 days at sea, can you pick your hotel at the park? I was on line earlier looking at booking a package for our honeymoon. We wanted to spend more money on a nice room at sea and stay at one of the all-star resorts at the park. They would only let you chose one of the 3 higer price hotels to stay at the park. Is it better AND cheaper to book through a local travel agent in our town? We just wanted a cheaper room at WDW park since we are never going to be there in the room that much. Thanks
Why does Disney World list fireworks shows after the park closes? I'm going to Disney World for my honeymoon. I'm trying to figure out why they list fireworks at 10:30pm when the park hours are 9am to 10pm. Why? Can I still see the fireworks from inside the park? Here's an example: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/calendar/dailyview/index?id=MGMCalendarDailyViewPage&date=08/20/2008
Has anyone stayed at the Polynesian resort in Disney World? I've heard of them upgrading your room view, is this at check-in? We're staying there on our honeymoon and just bought the 650$ garden view, do you think they'll upgrade us? Any tips on making this happen? thanks! p.s. what did you like about this resort? How long is the light parade on the 7 seas lagoon?
Honeymoon on Disney Wonder sep7? Just wanted to ask if anybody has any recomendations on things to do on nassau and castaway or on the boat for our honey moon this september. We are leaving on sep 7 for teh 4 night cruise and wanted some good pointers for newley weds. This was the only cruise that fit in our schedule since both of us are still finishing school, and it was the most convient date.
Disney World Honeymoon? Getting married in August and going to WDW for our honeymoon...I'm thrilled beyond belief! I haven't been there for a very long time, so does anyone know of any high-end, classy restaurants we should visit? Think romantic...
Going to Disney World for my honeymoon!? We never went as kids so we're going for our honeymoon. What is the BEST hotel to stay at? I want something that offers free shuttle service to Disney World. Other advice would be great. I'M GOING IN DECEMBER. WILL IT BE COLD??
Coral Reef Restaurant at Disney World-Epcot? My fiance and I will be honeymooning at Disney World and I was wondering if anyone has eaten at the Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT? Did you enjoy it? Was it worth the money? Thank you so much!!

Honeymoon tips at Disney World? Hey! We'll be honeymooning in Deisney World and would love any tips, reccomendations, ideas or advice you have for a great trip! It's in October of this year
At what point did you have a Disney World "magical moment"? Hi, everyone! I'm going to Disney World on my honeymoon in August, and I can think of nothing else! I feel like a kid again, just counting down the days. :) I went once when I was seven, and I had one of those moments when we first drove in sight of the Magic Kingdom and we saw huge balloons around Cinderella's Castle. I specifically remember a Miss Piggy balloon. I'll never forget it-- I was thrilled! What I want to ask is, what did you see or do at Disney World that gave you the "magic" feeling? Feel free to share any pleasant Disney memories! Thanks!
Disney World: Free Dining Plan??? My fiance & I will be visiting Disney World for our honeymoon in Sept 2008 (first week, probably). I have heard that every year Disney offers a free dining plan for those visiting in Spetember. Right now if we have to pay for the dining plan we will have to stay a All Star resort (for our budget reasons), but if we get the dining plan for free we could stay at the Carribean of something equivalent. I also have heard you should make your meal reservations 180 days before you arrive, but if I wait for the free dining I will not be able to make my meal reservation at the 180 day mark. Have any of you had this problem and what did you do? If you have not had this problem what do you think I could do?
In-laws want to take 9 year-old son to Disney World? When my husband and I were dating, my mother and father-in-law said they would pay for us to go to Disney World for our honeymoon when we got married. When we got married, this wasn't mentioned. Then, they told us they would pay for us to go to Disney World when our oldest son turned 5. When my oldest son turned 5, this wasn't mentioned. Yet, they went to Europe and Hawaii. Now my son is 9 and my husband and I are separated. My sister and brother in law want to take my son with them to Disney World this summer and said that my mother and father in law offered to pay for his trip. I am really upset about this. The whole time my husband and I were together, they never came through on their word and now that we aren't together they jump at the chance for him to go with their daughter and her husband. We are not even close to the sister and her husband. I told them that he can't go with them. Did I do the right thing? I am really upset and bothered by this. This isn't the only reason--he is not close to his aunt and uncle and doesn't feel comfortable going with them anyway. They have 3 other kids who they can barely handle, so I am nervous about leaving my son with them for a week. AND, they are just rude people who have been really awful to us over the years. I want to take both of my children to DW when they get older. It's something I want to experience with them their first time. Maybe that's selfish of me, but that's how I feel about it. My son DOES NOT want to go on the trip with them. I had a long talk with him about it. Had he wanted to go, I would have most likely let him go. I more concerned on what people think about the way we were shafted by my husband's family.
Disney Restaurants? We are going to Disney World in Orlando next June for our honeymoon. We are purchasing the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan--three service meals and two snacks per day. Are there any really great restaurants that anyone can recommend? My fiancee especially loves prime rib--steak and seafood places are at the top of our list. Also, has anyone been to the Spirit of Aloha Show, at the Disney Polynesian Resort?
Which disney hotel should we choose for our wedding/honeymoon? Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, or Polynesian? We are getting married in Disney next year and are looking to book a hotel room. We are both students and in our mid 20's and will graduate next year as well, so money is tight. We aren't sure if we want to splurge and get our top choice, the Polynesian or go back some day when we have jobs and a better income and enjoy the Polynesian then?? Our other choice is somewhere quieter, more relaxing such as the Saratoga Springs or Old Key West. These are both close to downtown disney which is where we plan to spend a lot of time as well as the parks. The Polynesian obviously has better travel capabilities but is it worth the extra $500 when we could literally spend one more day in disney for the same price at the Saratoga or OKW? I know they will all be tremendous, I just need help making the right decision! Does anyone know which is better: Saratoga Springs or Old Key West? Thanks!
Going To Disney World? We decided tonight that we wanted to go to Disney World next month for our honeymoon. Does anyone know where I can find a web site that I can book my air fare, hotel, tickets, transportation, and food?

Experiences with Walt Disney hotels? Were looking into going to Walt Disney World in Orland for our honeymoon, but there are so many hotels down there. I was wondering if anyone on here has stayed in them and what ones you would suggest. Any other information would be helpful also. Thanks!

I just got back from disney world in orlando for my honeymoon at all four of the major parks there were these little black and orange bugs that looked like they had two heads one on each end, it could have been mating, they looked kind of like lightning bugs any idea as to what these are, i saw them the most on the indy car ride in the magic kingdom
